Product Usage
Benzaldehyde is primarily used as a chemical raw material for synthesizing compounds such as lauraldehyde and benzyl benzoate, and as an organic solvent. It is also utilized in daily chemical fragrances (including floral blends, soaps, foods, and beverages), pharmaceuticals (for producing phenylglycine, ephedrine, etc.), and pesticides (for manufacturing the herbicide Yeyanqin). Additionally, it serves in the production of dye intermediates, benzylamine, and benzyl alcohol, and is applied as an auxiliary in polyamide dyeing and as an additive in electroplating baths.
