Product Usage
Cinnamic aldehyde is widely used as a fragrance component in household products such as deodorizers, detergents, and soaps. It also serves as a flavoring agent in toothpaste, confectionery, ice cream, soft drinks, chewing gum, and baked goods.
In addition, it is present in balsam of Tolu and Peru, hyacinth, various spices, cinnamon, and both Ceylon and cassia oils. It is applied in certain perfumery formulations, including Canoe-type, hyacinth, bubblegum, balsamic, and cassia notes. Cinnamic aldehyde also naturally occurs in cinnamon.
