Dioctyl Sulfosuccinate Sodium Salt CAS#577-11-7
Effective constipation relief: Docusate sodium works as a reliable laxative and stool softener, helping to ease bowel movements and relieve constipation.
Gentle stool-softening action: It softens stools rather than stimulating harsh intestinal contractions, providing more comfortable and safer relief.
Pharmaceutical-grade versatility: In addition to its medical use, it can be applied in advanced drug-delivery systems such as electrospun fibers.
Supports controlled drug release: It enables customized and controlled release of antibiotics, improving therapeutic effectiveness and patient compliance.

Product Application of Dioctyl Sulfosuccinate Sodium Salt CAS#577-11-7
Docusate sodium is applied in the treatment of constipation as a laxative and stool softener, and it is also used in the preparation of electrospun fibers for customized and controlled antibiotic drug release. In the textile industry, it functions as an efficient emulsifier, detergent, penetrant, and thickener with excellent permeability and wettability, as well as a wetting agent.
Also known as Aerosol OT, it serves as a lubricant and is widely used as a surfactant, emulsifier, and wetting agent in the printing and dyeing and cosmetics industries. It can be combined with CAPSO to form microemulsion electrophoresis systems for detecting natural and synthetic estrogens. In addition, it is used to prepare reversed-phase microparticles in hydrocarbon solvents and is suitable for dissolving most membrane proteins. It is also employed as a surfactant, penetrant, emulsifier, and leveling agent in printing and dyeing, and as an emulsion component for photosensitive materials.
