Products Description of CREMOPHOR CAS#68439-49-6
CETETH25 is a nonionic emulsifier produced by the ethoxylation of natural saturated fatty alcohols. With an HLB value of 15–17, it functions as an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsifier. When used in combination with CETETH6, it forms a synergistic emulsifier system that delivers strong emulsifying performance at low dosage levels. The resulting emulsions exhibit excellent stability and a smooth, glossy appearance. CETETH25 shows good tolerance to inorganic salts and can perform reliably under both acidic and strongly alkaline conditions. In addition to conventional creams and lotions, it is well suited for emulsions containing fruit acids as well as highly alkaline formulations such as hair dye creams and depilatory creams, making it a highly versatile emulsifier for a wide range of applications.
